It’s the first day of July - and we are now officially halfway through the year (scary- we know!).

Today also marks Edition #12 of The Community Roundup AND our second birthday 🎉🎉 It’s officially been 2 years since we launched The CC and we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve built. To celebrate, make sure you RSVP to our Birthday Party with One Roof, we would love to be there with you!

In this edition, we are taking you through some useful resources to check your community health metrics, the top startup events in July, 15+ jobs, what’s happening in The CC world and a very exciting new Startup Community Manager Snapshot survey launch.

But first, an ask from us…

We’ve had a lot of questions from members and businesses hiring talent about the role of a community manager. What are the common responsibilities? What does a ‘doable’ job look like? What are the expected salary ranges?

Whilst we can share our own answers, we’d love to get real data on this to accurately provide a snapshot of the Community Manager role in the Australian & New Zealand startup space to help us all understand better.

We’re super excited to partner with Australian Community Managers (home of online community training and research in AU) to create the inaugural Startup Community Manager Snapshot - a research project that aims to shine a light on the realities of being a Community Manager in the ANZ startup ecosystem.

Our goal is to survey at least 100 people so if you’re a CC’ian or building community in the startup space, please take 5 minutes to complete our short survey before 15 July and contribute to this valuable project 🙏 

All submissions will receive a copy of the report, plus a Tech Stack Gift Pack with a free 1 year Gatheround Premium account, Butter discount, 2 months free of Superhuman and free access to our Tech Tool Directory.

We can’t wait to share the results with you from September.
