🏵 A Strategy to Kickstart A New Community | International Women's Day Events

Hey folks, we’re back with your March edition of The Community Roundup, and my oh my are we in store for a BIG month, or ‘Mad March’ as they say over in Radelaide 😎

I love this quote from Jean Vanier that beautifully articulates the essence of community, highlighting its capacity to transcend materialism and create genuine connections.

However, as we celebrate International Women's Day (IWD) this 8 March (and every damn day for that matter 😅), the theme this year is "Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress", it's crucial to recognise that investing in women financially and energetically is vital for achieving gender equality and fostering truly inclusive communities. Whilst we may not need a lot of money to be happy, it would be great to actually see the numbers reflected equally.

This is also why we’ve searched the internet to share the IWD gatherings bringing together these conversations, not to mention the events happening around the iconic _SOUTHSTART this month (you flying to SA too? Awesome.).

We’ve also been deep in launching our Community Cohort #4 and whilst we come up for air in between interviews for this newsletter, there’s still 10 days before applications close!

We’re at 18 amazing applications and are aiming for 50 (dream goal of 70). We already have 20+ alumni who are rejoining Cohort #4 for a 2nd, 3rd or 4th time 🤯 So if you’d like to apply, pop your name down here before 12 March.
