Today marks the 30th edition of this newsletter 🥹 That’s 2.5 years straight of publishing on the 1st day of each month to keep 2.5k+ of you up to date with the community and startup industry. Plus our journey here at The CC 🧡 

Today also marks the Year of the Snake 🐍 If you’re anything like me, this time is full of deep reflection and intentional planning.

Personally, I’m currently away on a 1 month break hiking Wilsons Prom 🏔 Luckily we scheduled this newsletter last year as I won’t have reception right now 😆 🏕

🐍 2025: Year of The Snake

According to Chinese astrology, the Year of the Snake is a time to embrace the qualities this graceful creature represents: wisdom, adaptability, and transformation.

Snakes are known for their ability to shed their skin, a great symbol of renewal and the opportunity to leave behind what no longer serves them.

This makes 2025 a year of growth, where careful planning and introspection can lead to meaningful change. Ooooft who doesn’t want that?

Snakes are deeply intuitive and strategic, often observing before making their move. They are patient and precise—taking time to assess situations before acting. The Snake’s ability to navigate challenges with grace encourages us to approach life’s twists and turns with flexibility and confidence, finding creative solutions and staying focused on long-term goals.

The key takeaway?

2025 is a year to lean into subtle power, trust your instincts, and welcome change as an essential part of progress.
