Oh hello! It’s OUR BIRTHDAY TODAY and we couldn’t be more delighted that you’re reading this! It’s been 3 epic years here at The CC. From our humble beginnings as a meetup group with 17 community builders to a MOVEMENT with an audience of more than 10,000 people (and CC’ians in 18 countries and counting). Even this newsletter now has over 2,000 subscribers (how good?!).

We have loved this journey with YOU!

As usual, we wanted to give you the inside scoop of everything that’s happening in the community industry through this newsletter. From fascinating resources to details about our exciting Community Cohort #5, it’s a meaty read 😁

But first, we need your help!

We often receive inquiries from members and businesses hiring talent regarding the Community Manager role. Questions abound regarding typical responsibilities, what constitutes a manageable workload, and the expected salary ranges.

While we can offer our insights, we're eager to gather empirical data to provide an accurate overview of the Community Manager position within the Australian and New Zealand startup sectors, for a better understanding by all.

This year, we're thrilled to continue our partnership with Australian Community Managers (a hub for online community training and research in AU) for the annual Startup Community Manager Snapshot Report for the 2nd year. It is a research initiative with which we aim to illuminate the realities of being a Community Manager in the ANZ startup ecosystem.

And it’s here where we need your help! Our objective is to survey a minimum of 100 individuals. If you're involved in community building within the startup realm, kindly spare 5 minutes to complete our brief anonymous survey by July 15th and contribute to this important project 🙏

All participants will receive a copy of the report. Upon submission, you'll also instantly receive a Tech Stack Gift Pack, which includes a free Community Manager Interview Guide, Community Audit and Member Survey Template, free access to our Experience Directory with the best places and people to host magical events and discounts to ACM courses.
