The CC Corner
We're feeling inspired by Spotify's 2022 Wrapped (and slightly concerned by the 58,162 minutes of music I listened to π ), and since this is our last newsletter this year, we're wrapping with our own 2022 Year In Review. It's been a big year for us at The CC and even myself (Paz here writing π), having left my full time job to go all in on building an impactful community and creating a financially sustainable business. Well, it's safe to say that both are right on track and I am so damn grateful for every single person who has helped us on our way π§‘
Here's our 2022 wrapped with numbers π> 366 members (AKA legendary CC'ians) in our free meetup community > 352 attendees across 9 online meetups hosted on Butter (our beloved partner) > 234 attendees across 6 public events in Melbourne and Sydney
> 169 on a waitlist to hear about when Cohort #2 launches π€―> 75 NPS score for our very first Community Cohort #1> 36 community builders across 4 countries welcomed to Cohort #1 > 10 collaborations with incredible organisations to co-host events, including Australian Community Managers, CMX, Canva, The Commons, Tractor Ventures, Hub Australia, SproutX, Stone & Chalk, Birchal and Startup&Angels> 8 countries reached with new members joining from Australia, New Zealand, India, Africa, Poland, Russia, America and the Netherlands> 6 newsletters written with 701 subscribers and a 56.2% open rate, 23.2% click rate> 4 incredible Ambassadors joined the team, Kat, Marina, Des and Ashwin, from 12 applications> 3 incredible women joined our Advisory Board: Melia, Jaala and Kim> 2 people landed new roles through connecting at our events (please hit reply if we helped you land a new job?!)> 1 birthday celebrated with a sold out event with 80+ people (this was The CC's bday π)
Alrighty that's it! I honestly can't wipe the smile off my face whilst writing this. I'm so proud of what we have achieved π§‘
